Installing hardware drivers
A driver is a piece of software which operates a piece of hardware. Some devices are supported by Windows and work as soon as they are plugged into the system, whereas other (typically very new) devices may require a driver, either from the accompanying disc or from the manufacturer's website.
You may need to have administrative privileges to perform this task.
Download the driver, noting the location of download directory.. (screenshot)
Go to where you downloaded the driver and double click on it to expand the Zip archive.. (screenshot)
Expand the archive further and double-click on setup.. (screenshot)
Click 'Run' at the first Obligatory Security Warning.. (screenshot)
Click 'Next' because..well, that's the only real option.. (screenshot)
Select "Install this driver.." at the second Obligatory Security Warning.. (screenshot)
Home free and ready to reboot..! (screenshot).
